ABOUT THE ROLE: As Procurement Specialist, you’ll manage site purchases of indirect goods and services that meet the operations quality, cost, and timeline requirements. You’ll play a key role in executing the end to end procurement process, which includes, the execution of orders, monitoring inventory levels, and measuring supplier performance. This role provides an opportunity to work with various cross functional teams, build relationships with vendors, and drive cost efficiencies that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. M-F 8-5pm YOU WILL: - Order Execution - Assist in processing & managing purchase orders for multiple sites - Track and trace deliveries - Coordinate with internal stakeholders on order status - Inventory Support - Measure and monitor inventory levels to avoid stock out - Coordinate with internal departments to anticipate future needs - Ability to unload & assist with inventory management as deemed necessary - Vendor Coordination - Effectively communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, ensure service guarantees, and resolve issues - Maintaining Records - Verify and document delivery receipts, order confirmations, and inventory levels - Update and manage information in system - Audit and rectify billing issues YOU HAVE: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) - Experience: 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical purchasing, operations, or similar role is preferred - Understanding of procurement software is a plus (Netsuite, SAP, or other ERP systems) - Skills - Attention to detail and strong commitment to operational excellence - Strong ability to solve problems and action change - Effective communication and negotiation skills - Proficiency in Microsoft (excel, powerpoint, word) - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs OUR BENEFITS (THERE ARE MORE BUT HERE ARE SOME HIGHLIGHTS): Offering competitive benefits are a top priority for our company; we are extremely proud of the benefits we are able to offer to employees.
