Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Godspeed at godspeedjobs.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

What Godspeed is

Godspeed is a job search tool. It collects job listings from public sources and gives you tools to track applications, draft cover letters, build tailored resumes, and find contact details for people at companies you're interested in.

We are not an employer or a recruiter, and we are not affiliated with the companies whose jobs appear in the feed. Listings come from third-party sources and can be inaccurate, out of date, or already filled. You apply on the employer's own site, and we can't promise any interview or job offer.

Your account

• You must be at least 18.
• You're responsible for activity on your account. Don't share it.
• Give us accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure.

Free preview and Godspeed Pro

You can sign up free and see a preview of the job feed. Godspeed Pro unlocks the full feed and the AI tools for $19.99 USD per month.

• Pro is billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renews automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from the Billing button in the app. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and we don't charge you again.
• Payments are generally non-refundable, and we don't give partial-month refunds. If something went wrong, email us within 14 days of the charge and we'll look at it in good faith.
• If we change the price, we'll tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

AI-generated content

Cover letters, resumes, outreach messages, and other drafts are generated by AI from what you give us. They can contain mistakes or awkward wording. You are responsible for reading, editing, and fact-checking anything before you send it, and for making sure everything you submit to an employer is true.

Your content

You own what you put into Godspeed, such as your experience, resumes, and notes. You give us permission to store and process it, including sending it to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy, only to run the Service for you. You confirm you have the right to submit it.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harass or spam people;
• use the contact tools to send bulk unsolicited messages, or in violation of anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM;
• copy, scrape, or resell the job feed or other Service content in bulk;
• try to break, overload, or get around the security or limits of the Service; or
• use another person's account.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Godspeed running, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features, including ones still in development.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't guarantee the accuracy of job listings, contact details, or AI output.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Godspeed isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, income, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50.

Ending your use

You can stop using Godspeed at any time, and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or misuse the Service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we consent to those courts. Before filing anything, please email us so we can try to work it out. If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away any rights you have under the laws of the place where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll give notice on the site or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
