Privacy Policy

Last updated September 19, 2026

This explains what Godspeed (godspeedjobs.com) collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. We keep it short on purpose. We don't sell your personal information.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address, and basic profile details if you sign in with Google.
  • What you add: your experience bank, resumes, cover letters, profile and preferences, job tracking (saved, applied, hidden), rejections you log, practice scores, and contacts you save or draft messages to.
  • Billing: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Usage: pages viewed, device and browser, and approximate location, through Google Analytics, plus standard server logs.

How we use it

  • To run Godspeed: sign you in, show your jobs, and generate the drafts you ask for.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To keep the Service secure, fix problems, and understand what people use.
  • To reply when you contact us.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run Godspeed. They only get what they need to do their job:

  • Supabase: database and sign-in.
  • Vercel: hosting and file storage.
  • Stripe: payments.
  • Anthropic: when you generate a cover letter, resume, or message, the relevant text (your background and the job details) is sent to Anthropic's AI. Under Anthropic's current commercial terms, this data isn't used to train their models.
  • Hunter.io and email-verification services (such as ZeroBounce or NeverBounce): used to find and check professional contact details at companies you look up. They receive company domains and the work email addresses being checked, not your account details.
  • Google Analytics: site usage statistics.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the Service and its users.

Contacts you look up

Godspeed can surface professional contact details (like a work email) for people at companies you target, from third-party data providers and public sources. That information is used only to help you reach out, and we don't use it for anything else.

Cookies

We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics cookies to measure usage. You can block or clear cookies in your browser, or use Google's opt-out add-on. Blocking the sign-in cookie means you won't be able to stay logged in. We don't currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete your account and everything you added yourself, any time, with the "Delete my account and data" link at the bottom of your Profile page. It takes effect immediately and cancels your subscription. Or email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we'll do it within 30 days. Stripe may keep basic billing records where it's required to, and backups can take a little longer to clear.

Security

Each account's data is kept separate from other users', and sign-in and payments run through established providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, export, or delete your personal information by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll respect them.

California residents

If you live in California, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We don't sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising, and we won't treat you differently for making a request.

Children

Godspeed isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and give notice on the site or by email.
