Growth Lead, HeySunday
Remote - USA · Posted Sep 1, 2026
$160K – $220KAbout the role
About Us HeySunday is on a mission to make cleaning easier, and better for the planet. We sell innovative, space-saving alternatives to traditional cleaning products, including our signature laundry detergent sheets, dryer sheets, dishwasher sheets, and more. We believe that keeping a home clean should be simple, convenient, and low-waste, and we're building a brand that makes sustainable choices feel effortless for everyday households. The Role You drive growth at HeySunday. You are a growth generalist. You are strong across the whole engine, acquisition, conversion, and retention, and you know that the best next win is not always the obvious one. You will set the strategy, run the experiments, understand the math, and make the calls on where we push, where we cut, and what we try next. You will partner closely with HeySunday's GM, who comes from a growth and performance background and stays involved on growth strategy, so you should be someone who can take an idea from start to finish with limited oversight, name what you need, and challenge the plan when you disagree. This is not a role for someone who wants to stay high-level and hand the work to others. It is for someone who wants to sit at the center of the growth engine, stay close to the work, and have real impact. What You Own You are accountable for: - HeySunday's full growth engine, including strategy, prioritization, and outcomes - SKU expansion, from finding new product opportunities to taking them to market and actually selling them - Retention and lifecycle growth for a subscription business - Non-paid growth across channels like affiliate, partnerships, referral, brand, and product-led motions - CRO across landing pages and funnels - Paid acquisition strategy and execution - The growth model that defines assumptions, targets, and constraints - Profitable revenue measured in LTV, contribution margin, CAC payback, and ROAS You are not responsible for: - Inventory management - Cash management or P&L ownership - Customer support - General operations - Managing a large team. You will coordinate with teammates and lean on Mechanism's operating experts and shared specialist teams, but this is not a heavy people-management role What You'll Do - Own the growth roadmap across acquisition, conversion, and retention, in partnership with HeySunday's GM - Lead SKU expansion end-to-end: research and prioritize new products, then build the go-to-market to sell them - Drive retention and lifecycle growth for a subscription business, improving LTV rather than optimizing for AOV alone - Build non-paid channels such as affiliate, partnerships, referral, brand, and product-led growth - Set paid acquisition strategy, spin up quick tests, and audit outside work to a high bar. You can get into the accounts when it matters, but you do not need to live there - Run a high-cadence testing program. Dig into customer and product insight to find the non-obvious wins, double down on what works, and kill what doesn't - Build and own HeySunday's growth model and reporting layer - Ship landing pages, creative, and funnel changes faster than any in-house team could on its own - Use AI and automation to compress cycle time and drive growth with a lean team - Codify what works into reusable playbooks, scripts, and automations that compound across the portfolio - Provide clear, written updates on results, learnings, and blockers on Mechanism's standard cadence Who You Are You are likely a fit if you: - Have driven growth by identifying and pulling the most effective levers across paid media, brand, retention, product, and more - Look for the non-obvious win. You would rather talk to ten customers and act on what you learn than reach for the easy lever - Understand subscription economics and think in LTV, retention, and contribution margin, not just AOV - Are comfortable with paid acquisition, enough to run a test or audit an
