Please note that all of our roles will require you to be in-person at our NYC HQ (located in Union Square) ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for an experienced Product Designer to help shape the next generation of AI native video creation at Mirage. You’ll take on some of our most ambitious and complex product challenges, working closely with our executive, Product, and Engineering teams to define not just how our products look and feel, but how they fundamentally work. This is a highly hands-on role with significant ownership, from identifying and framing the right problems to exploring new interaction paradigms, prototyping ideas, and shipping polished experiences to millions of creators. You’ll help turn rapidly evolving AI capabilities into intuitive, delightful products while establishing the systems and design patterns that allow us to move quickly without sacrificing craft. As a senior member of a small, highly collaborative design team, you’ll also help raise the bar for product thinking and design quality across Mirage through strong judgment, thoughtful critique, and hands-on execution. RESPONSIBILITIES - Partner closely with the executive and product teams to shape product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap, influencing high-level business and product decisions. - Own complex, cross-functional product initiatives from concept through launch, driving design strategy and execution across multiple workstreams. - Translate ambiguous business and user problems into clear, actionable design frameworks, user journeys, and high-fidelity prototypes. - Lead and elevate product thinking across the organization by articulating clear design rationale grounded in user insights, data, and business objectives. - Drive and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research to inform product direction, identify opportunity areas, and validate solutions. - Establish, scale, and evolve a robust design system to ensure cohesion, quality, and efficiency across all product surfaces. - Provide mentorship and design leadership through thoughtful critique, feedback, and guidance to other designers and cross-functional partners. - Champion user-centric decision-making at every stage of the product lifecycle while balancing technical constraints and business priorities. - Proactively identify opportunities to improve product experience, workflows, and in
