As an eight-time Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies honoree and consistent year-over-year recipient of "Best Places to Work" awards, we offer a thriving, work environment where career growth and life-work balance go hand in hand. At Ncontracts, you'll join a team of industry experts dedicated to strengthening the financial services sector through innovation and thought leadership. We're seeking creative, collaborative, and self-driven professionals across all areas of our business - from developing cutting-edge solutions to sales, marketing, customer support, and beyond. Join us in our mission to make the financial industry stronger and more resilient, while advancing your career in a supportive, dynamic environment that values your unique skills and perspectives. THE ROLE We're seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the modernization of an established, market-leading compliance product with a large, loyal customer base and a long heritage in the mortgage lending space. This is not a maintenance role, and it is not a Product Owner role. We are hiring a strategic product leader to answer the hard questions first — what the modern product should be, which capabilities carry forward, which workflows get reimagined, and how we migrate thousands of customers without breaking their trust — and then drive that vision through delivery. You'll be handed a product with real revenue, real customers, and real technical debt, and asked to chart its next decade. You'll operate with a high degree of autonomy. You will set the strategy, build the business case, define the roadmap, and make the calls — with support from leadership, but without someone handing you a prioritized backlog. The right candidate finds ambiguity energizing: you know how to go deep with customers, size markets, pressure-test assumptions with Engineering, and turn an open-ended mandate into a sequenced plan the whole company can rally behind. As we continue evolving our lending compliance portfolio toward a more integrated, AI-enabled platform, this role sits at the center of one of the most consequential product bets we're making. YOU WILL Product Strategy & Vision (50%) - Own the end-to-end modernization strategy for a legacy product line: define the target-state product, the migration path, and the sequencing of investment across a multi-year horizon - Conduct deep discovery with existing customers, lost customers, and prospects to understand which workflows are load-bearing, which are legacy artifacts, and where a modern platform can leapfrog the market - Build and defend the business case — market sizing, retention risk, expansion opportunity, and build/buy/partner trade-offs — with executive leadership - Define what carries forward, what gets reimagined, and what gets sunset, and own the communication of those decisions internally and externally - Evaluate where AI-native capabilities should replace legacy workflows rather than merely re-skinning them - Develop the competitive strategy: understand how the market has moved while the legacy product stood still, and position the modernized product to win Delivery Leadership (30%) - Translate strategy into PRDs, specifications, and acceptance criteria that give Engineering clear context on the problem, success criteria, and constraints - Partner with Engineering and Architecture on replatforming decisions — phasing, data migration, parity thresholds, and when "good enough to migrate" beats "perfect" - Define and track success metrics for the modernization: migration velocity, retention through transition, adoption of the new experience, and NPS recovery - Make disciplined scope trade-offs to keep a multi-year effort shipping value in quarters, not years Go-to-Market & Customer Transition (20%) - D
